I am a bit of a renaissance man. I have degrees in linguistics and German, international relations, and war studies. Within international relations, I was very interested in political economy, economics, and international law. In war studies, my expertise is in deterrence, security studies, international law (I recently peer reviewed a journal article on international law from one of the world'd pre-eminent international lawyers at Princeton), counterterrorism, and counterinsurgency.

I have worked as a translator (German into English) and proofreader for over 10 years. Here are my main clients (with the field in parentheses when unclear):
I have also translated and proofread documents for professors at Vienna's University of Economics and Business, a dissertation on international relations (about Hans Herz), and many other smaller projects.
I work only with text in .doc format (no PDFs). The occasional image is OK, but costs extra. I cannot be responsible for formatting changes and recommend sending me the documents before they've been laid out for printing, if applicable.
Hi there! I'm a one-man show, so my customer relationships are key. I deliver high-quality work, ask when I have questions, and always deliver on time. As you can see, I've worked in a variety of areas, so I have broad knowledge of many topics you might wish to have proofread.
I generally have wide availability, though I do also work as an adjunct professor. Please contact me with information on the type of document, it's characters with spaces, and when you need it by and I will let you know if it is feasible!
