I have a Doctorate in Peace Studies (PhD) in which I examined the Global Governance of Food and Agriculture; I also have a BA (Hons) in Journalism, a Masters in Peace Studies and a Masters in Research.
During my time at the University of Bradford (UK) I was also the editor of the peer-reviewed academic journal Peace, Conflict and Development.
In addition I have been a research assistant on international research projects, including a five country study on the Worst Forms of Child Labour in conflict and post conflict settings, working for the University of Bradford and the United Nations International Labour Organisation.

I have extensive experience as a proofreader in many different fields, from PhD theses, academic journals and dissertations to business marketing books and detailed product brochures.
SfEP (Society for Editors and Proofreaders) Proofreading trained, as well as NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) trained, I also have seven years' experience as a journalist.
During my time studying at the University of Bradford for my MRes and PhD I was the editor of the peer-reviewed academic journal Peace, Conflict and Development, which required proofreading, copy-editing and article preparation for publication.
I have also proofread and copy-edited for the African Peace and Conflict Journal.
