I possess a Master's Degree in International Affairs from American University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Franklin & Marshall College. In addition, I am well versed in numerous subjects across the social sciences and humanities, including history, classical studies, English literature, philosophy, and religious studies.
Some of the more prominent academic projects I have worked on include:
During my undergraduate education I minored in English literature, and I currently have three years of experience editing papers for students from the college level to elementary school. The subjects of these papers have varied widely across a variety of disciplines, including history, philosophy, economics, English literature, and popular culture. Furthermore, many of the clients I've worked with have been ESL students with introductory understandings of the Enlish Language. Lastly, while at American University, I also served as a Junior Editor for an academic journal, called the Journal of International Service (JIS).
I am capable of assisting in the structuring and organization of English language papers, and in checking the logic and reasoning of the arguments of the author. I am also more than capable of editing for grammar and punctuation errors.
I am experienced at both the editing of English language papers and in working with Professors and other members of academia. I am capable, professional, detail oriented, and effective.
I very much look forward to assisting you with your project.
Aside from a two week period in November (Nov. 4 to Nov. 17), I am fully available to take on projects year-round. I would normally prefer at least 24 hours prior notice before accepting an assignment, though exceptions can be made.
