My specialization is highly interdisciplinary but most broadly concerns music in all historical and socio-cultural contexts. I researched the popular culture and music of postsocialist Eastern Europe but I am well versed in the broader critical theory of all of the humanities (media studies, cultural anthropology, sociology, history, and gender studies).

I find editing/copyediting and proofreading stimulating because I enjoy reading, writing, and learning. I have a broad spectrum of personal and academic interests: from performing arts' aesthetics and economic anthropology to vegan cooking and pandas.
